Lin Daiyu, who has an unusually high emotional intelligence, doesn’t even care about earthly jewelry and treasures. So why would she care about withering flowers? Of course, she knew that the cycle of flowers blooming and withering is a natural phenomenon.

🥀We humans are like sojourners in the world, our journey lasts for only a few decades. Likening the fate of all human beings to the cycle of flowers blooming and withering, Lin Daiyu couldn’t help but be sad. However, ordinary people could not understand this kind of sentiment, and instead, jeered at her. It is a great prejudice to misunderstand high emotional intelligence as simply weakness, as many have.
