Our wedding was themed "A Fairytale Love" but the truth is love isn't perfect and never comes easy. It is about constantly facing challenges, overcoming hurdles, wiping tears, screaming heads off, struggling to hold on and reminding ourselves why this is worth fighting for.
Over a dozen years of being hubby and wifey, we still have days when we fail, yell, disgree, hurt, judge and bicker as we learn about love, a word that is easy to spell but hard to understand. Perhaps that is why it is said that love starts at forever and ends at never, so this might be something we have to constantly work on for the rest of our lives.
I guess the most important thing is to keep trying, no matter how tough the journey gets. Never stop communicating with each other too, because when you stop talking, you stop loving.
So yup, the truth is we are just an ordinary couple like most of you out there and we have our unique story too. Today, we are gonna celebrate V-Day with our kids and our parents over a steamboat in the comfort of home. I guess it is the perfect way to spend it because at the end of the day, family is everything to us and we have a home only because of each other.
