還記得AIT粉專「愛台灣，我的選擇」系列文中的藝術家Jason Cole Mager嗎 (https://bit.ly/3d0G90O)？AIT文化新聞組很榮幸能將這位美國藝術家的作品掛在我們辦公室的牆上！大家可能還記得，Jason對各種圖徽和台灣的印章很有興趣，他的作品也經常翻玩台灣歷史中的各式文化元素。我們希望這幅作品能提醒我們美國和台灣文化共通共融的獨特面向，特別是當AIT文化新聞組在推動新提案時，能夠激發我們的靈感，舉辦強化美台雙邊人民關係的各式活動。在這幅作品中你能看出哪些是台灣的意象符號嗎？

💡AIT’s Public Diplomacy Office: What’s in our office?
Remember Jason Cole Mager from @AIT_tapei’s #WhyIChoseTaiwan series (https://bit.ly/3d0G90O)? AIT’s Public Diplomacy Section is grateful to have one of this American artist’s pieces hanging in our very own office! As you may recall, Jason is fascinated with symbols and with Taiwan’s use of stamps. Much of his work also deals with the interplay between cultures throughout Taiwan’s history. We hope this work will remind us of the ways that the United States and Taiwan’s cultures blend together in unique ways, particularly as the Public Diplomacy Section looks for new programs to strengthen the #peopletopeolpeties that bind us together. Do you recognize any of Taiwan’s symbols in this work?
We will continue introducing the decorations in our PD office, which gives you a lookback and lookout of the close cooperation and interaction in art, education and culture between the United States and Taiwan. Stay tuned!
