Thank you for the views and comments on the trailer! I'm so happy people are as excited! It really means a lot to me. Here's why: The editing process is something I totally enjoy. But as I was about to go into edits with my editor Bobby, the lockdown started.

Lockdown meant that we had to be responsible and stay home. This stopped everything. Bobby was running a 2011 iMac, and I had a 2014 MacBook Pro. I had many hours of footage that were shot in 4K. Both our machines struggled. I tried to remote in to Bobby's iMac to watch edits but we could hardly see anything. Bobby would try to remote in to my MacBook but 1) it wasn't precise enough and 2) I had zero editing abilities. I looked at the new MacBook Pro 16 inch but I could hardly afford it and what with zero work coming in, it wasn't prudent.

So I decided to learn 'PC' and spent 5 weeks researching, watching techtubers like Jayztwocents, Gamers Nexus, Paul's Hardware, Bitwit - doing this really really helped. I then bought my PC part by part online and after 6 weeks, I assembled my a first working PC & used my TV as a monitor to save a little more dough. Now comes the hard part. I have the machine but zero skills. So I spent another 2 weeks watching editing tutorials, program tutorials, and picked up basic editing skills.

After 2 months into the lockdown, I assembled my first offline edit of an episode, and Bobby then remote in from his iMac and work off my PC's resources, fixing everything I did wrong (a lot). We did this for the next 2 months, almost every night talking on the phone while I see my mouse cursor magically controlled by Bobby.

I don't know if this means anything to you, but I found it so magical! That the entire season of #MACC was cut and edited remotely. I remember feeling horrible during the lockdown, being trapped and useless but I look back now realising I had gained so much. I can now build my own PC, I can edit, and know what Bobby's environment sounds like everyday from 7pm to 1am. Thank you so much Bobby! This show couldn't exist without you.

The series 'Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians' premieres on Astro at 8.30pm, Sept 8.

Back in my hood today! Yup, I grew up on the east side of the island and this was mostly where I hung out with friends when I was still a teenager. So much has changed yet some things still remain the same, you know what I mean?

I am so glad at the cinema is still here after all these years and having so many Golden Village theatres in Singapore means we can easily hop from one to another if the first is full - which was what we did today because we heard that the Leap Day Special Sneak of Onward was selling out fast in GV VivoCity.

I remember during the days when I was working in the media industry, GV was my favourite client and right at that time, I already knew I was a movie buff who enjoyed watching nearly every new release. Well, it turns out that I now have three little movie buffs too and I am so thankful to have their company and happy to see how we all love a good show.

As for Onward, I have to say I didn't go in with much expectations because I don't remember much from the trailer we saw previously. My kids were definitely more excited than me but it still turned out that I was the only one who teared at the touching parts. Haha. Emo Mama as usual. But all of us did enjoy the movie from start to end and loved the plot, the humour and the surprise twists.

This is a show that revolves around the unwavering love between two brothers, talks about sacrifice, faith and determination, and reminds us that we all have magic in us and we just might not realise our hidden talents yet. I love the role that their Mum plays and how she is fearless when it comes to protecting her beloved sons - definitely a warrior in my eyes. We also found out about the star-studded cast behind the show - younger brother Ian is voiced by Tom Holland and elder brother Barley is Chris Pratt - and that got all of us feeling thrilled too.

Onward opens in cinemas on 5 March and is definitely a show worth watching. Go catch it at your nearest GV cinema next week! Thanks for having us at the preview today, @gvmovieclub!

ID4星際重生,或叫独立日2:星際重生：ID4：Independence day 2：Resurgence終於要上映了！相隔第一集ID4已經二十年咯
我一看了ID4:星際重生，獨立日2預告片，我就再看回獨立日來回顧一下

以前獨立日：independence day對於那時候的我們究竟有多麼的震撼

雖然那時的電腦技術比不起現在的ID4星際重生

但那個時候是最新的技術。

現在就讓我為介紹ID4星際重生 的故事

這套電影的時間線是跟住以前的故事在跑

那時的ID4是在1996年

那ID4星際重生故事的主角們也是跟住這是時間成長。

以前的物理學家（David Levinson）

在ID4:星際重生也變成ESD地球保衛局的主席

因為上一次的外星人入侵，知道科技懸殊

他用了二十年用外星人的技術去加強太空保衛戰力。

你可以看到很多反重力的配件加到飛機和直升機

上面了。

可惜Will Smith沒有參與這次的ID4星際重生

所以導演一來就賜他死，就說他太空飛機失事

這麼多外星人都打他不下

換來的是他戲裡的兒子。

對！就是以前那個小屁男。

哇！！Angelababy 呢！哎呀～不是Handela baby

啦！！這次她在ID4星際重生飾演中國戰機師加ESD的上校！
這位是。。。。有點臉熟哦～～像不像雷神？他就是

雷神的弟弟，他就好啦，可以和總統的女兒談戀愛

，這個就是以前的小女孩，現在長大了。
我一定要講的就是這一位，他就是以前ID4的總統，再

聽回他以前的致辭，還是那麼的感動和振奮人心。

讓我們來重溫一下他的致辭：

這次的ID4星際重生當然是說外星人再一次侵略地球，不過

這次的導演玩很大哦～～有多大？以前是醬油碟，

現在是大盤哦！！哈哈哈。看到這個畫面你就知道

這次的有多大了！
以前我在看獨立日第一集時會覺得有點不滿足，覺

得打得不夠厲害，這次好像是勢均力敵哦～～有好

戲看哦～～
導演還是跟世界各地的建築物有仇咯～～你看，這

個是新加坡的Marina Bay，這個是Dubai塔，飛到倫

敦了？還有我們的雙峰塔得罪你了啊？導演你曾

經被建築師拋棄過啊？
我們都希望這次續集是比第一集更震撼，由於電腦

科技的進步，可能以前第一集的極限，可以在續集

完成，我非常期待這次的ID4星際重生,獨立日2！

I watch the ID4 again after I saw the ID4

Resurgence trailer.
This movie really gave us an impact in that time.
Although the computer graphic is not so advances，
But It was the latest technology in previous time.
Let me brief you how the ID4 2 story.
The time lime of the movie is follow the previously

story.
The first episode was in 1996，So the characters

are growing too.
The physicist David Levinson in the past，Now

become director of the Earth Space Defense，He

knew that earth defense are weeks from last Alien

Invasion
So he was using alien technology on the earth

defense. You can see antigravity engine already

applied on helicopter and jets
Too bad that Will Smith isn’t in this Id4， So the

director ‘killed’ him in space ship accident.
Even Alien can’t kill him ...accident?
So his’ son’ replaced ，Ya, the small kid in previous movie
