#throwback to my race queen days! When I was in university, I worked at car shows and events as a race queen for extra pocket money. Then I did an internship with 2 car companies and subsequently started writing for car magazines, reviewing the latest cars in town and chasing life in the fast lane of motorsports.

I've since switched to sports and fitness, but sometimes I do miss the automotive journalism days. How life has changed in the last decade! (I wrote my first car article in 2007.) Who knew I would be so crazy to do Ironman 70.3 triathlons one day? •
