The weather is too hot for a feast, so we chose to have noodles and Taiwanese drinks as dinner. Any bubble milk tea fans here? 🙋🏻♀️
If you are looking for something more Chinese, go for Sea Cucumber Mixed Noodles. @kikinoodlebarhk is best known for their MSG and preservative free noodles. Crab egg Gravy Mixed Noodle 黃蟹油拌麵is already on my To-Eat list!

For the drinks, we chose Soy Milk Roasted Tea with Grass Jelly and Peach Oolong with Wild Berry Cream Mousse. Taiwanese tea drinks never fail you. Both are great! The restaurant is now offering “buy 4 get 1 free” discount! Swipe to the last photo to get 5 Taiwanese tea drinks in just HKD$112 (HKD$22.4 each!).
We end our dinner with the Earl Grey Chiffon Cake - very rich taste of earl grey but too rich to sleep well at night (yes, I had an insomnia after having the cake at 8pm). Don’t get me wrong, i like it so much...
If you are looking for something light after the noodles, go for Grass Jelly with brown sugar pearls. It might not be as Instagrammable as the Chiffon cake but tastes equally good.

?? Vietnam is almost completely back on lockdown. As such, I'm not able to travel around as I do with my usual content. So I've started a new podcast! This is episode 1 of 'Quarantine Talks'. My first guest is Kiki (@Trái tim chàng trai Nhật【KiKi.Jp】), a 34 year old Japanese man who is a chef at the restaurant Pepe La Poule in Hanoi. We only met a few weeks ago at a coffee shop in Hanoi, and so I didn't realize he'd have so many crazy experiences.
