"Didi, you want milk milk? Korkor feed you, okay?"
This is the only reason why I still pump every once in a while. To be honest, I find it a hassle to clean, sterilise and assemble the pump and milk bottle which is why I chose to latch directly for all three kids previously.
However, since this baby had a poor latch and only wanted to drink from the bottle in his first two months of life, I also saw the benefits of pumping. The best one, to me, is how the siblings get to feed him too. It's really very sweet and heartwarming to see this sight and all the older kids would rush up and say "Me! Me!" whenever I ask who wants to feed the baby.
He is currently using the 160ml wide neck feeding bottle from @evoriemoment and we love that there is a handle that can be attached to it. Being one who loves to grip things, including our hair and shirts, he loves to hold onto the handle and even tried to lift the bottle up on his own, woohoo! Looks so cute, right?
