Yayy, great news received in the morning!
Our favourite Ricardo & Jovita, Captain America themed bridal portraits is now published on The Wedding Notebook!!
Both based in Singapore, Ricardo is Italian and Jovita is Malaysian. Jovita first enquired about shooting Captain America-themed engagement portraits in the KL city centre. We thought the idea was super cool! Ricardo is a die-hard Captain America fan, complete with Captain America shield and tie.
We explored the CBD from Starhill Gallery to Petaling Street, covering both the modern and heritage sides of KL. We were caught in a light shower in the middle of the shoot, and Ricardo even used his shield as an umbrella for his fiancée! What a sweet moment! They wanted to capture some shots on the MRT, as public transport is part of their daily commute in Singapore. Jovita is also a professional Latin ballroom dancer and ballet instructor, so we tried to incorporate some of her dance poses in the portraits.
Finally, for something more nature-based, we thought Kanching Waterfall would be a great spot. They started the photo session by writing a love letter to each other, expressing their feelings and having a quiet moment. After a while, they got into it and started to play in the water! They said it was the best part of the entire day.
