Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated by Chinese all over the world, but only in Singapore will you find this lantern display with a distinctly local twist – children of different races carrying lanterns around a well-loved icon, with HDB flats in the distance!
Besides mooncakes, moongazing, and gathering with the family, what makes this festival unique are the colourful lanterns🏮 that light up the night. Chinatown, Gardens by the Bay, Jurong Lake Gardens (where this photo was taken) and shopping centres have put up beautiful displays. CCs have organised lantern walks and other activities this weekend.
