在法会当天，天空出现莲花云和佛光彩霞，莲花的样子，花瓣清晰可见。在现场的大家惊叹着也用手机拍摄下这个奇景。
莲花在佛教中被视为“圣物”，与佛教有着密切的关系，是佛教经典和艺术的象征，不仅表现在莲花的形象上，其寓意也是佛教的主要思想内容之一，莲花象征着诚实和正直。
当看到莲花云时，大家可以一边默默念佛，一边观想着阿弥陀佛端坐在莲花上。
这朵莲花云也在传达着佛教说法，她在告诉世人，宇宙中所有美好的事物，都跟这朵莲花云一样，随因缘和合而生，又随因缘四散而灭，看似有形有相，实则本无自性；虽然自性本空，却又令人赏心悦目。
