睡覺時流口水?濕作怪!
大口青:「EC,我明明合著口睡覺,但睡醒時發現自己流口水,有時在巴士上睡著流口水,勁尷尬,怎樣辦?」

對於人體分泌的液體,中醫分為五液:泣、汗、涎、涕、唾,分別為肝、心、脾、肺、腎所管理,成年人在睡覺時不自覺地流口水,反映脾不能正常運作導致身體聚濕;脾又主肌肉,口唇肌肉協調不良,在熟睡情況下肌肉鬆弛以致流口水。建議少吃生冷,減低脾胃負擔,流口水情況就會有改善!
健脾祛濕食材:米水、白米、淮山、眉豆、赤小豆
簡易健脾食譜
鰹魚醬拌木魚淮山
材料:鮮淮山一條、日式鰹魚醬油適量、木魚絲一小包
做法:
1. 鮮淮山洗淨去皮後切成條狀,加入煮滾的水中灼約30秒,撈起浸入冰水中。
2. 將淮山條瀝乾,淋上鰹魚醬油,再灑上少許木魚絲調味即可。
注意:鮮淮山的黏液有可能令皮膚敏感,宜戴手套處理。

CheckCheckCin: there are five types of secretion in the human body, Chinese medicine labels them as the five fluids: tears, sweat, controlled saliva, mucus, and involuntary saliva, and managed by the liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys respectively. When adults drool without knowing in their sleep, it’s a reflection of poor function of the spleen leading to dampness in the body. Spleen also controls muscles, and when the mouth and lips muscles are out of sync, this can lead to relaxation of the muscle during deep sleep and causes drooling. We suggest you reduce cold and raw foods to reduce the load on spleen and stomach to improve drooling situation!
Ingredients to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness: rice water, white rice, Chinese yam, purple haricot, rice beans
Simple recipe to strengthen the spleen- Japanese style Chinese yam
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese yam, Japannese Dashi Sauce, small pack of dried bonito
Preparation:
1. Rinse Chinese yam thoroughly, then peel and cut into slices. Cook in boiling water for 30 seconds and place into ice cold water.
2. Dry Chinese yam and add in dashi sauce and dried bonito.
Note: fresh Chinese yam juice can cause irritation, best to handle with gloves on.
