Tiger Muay Thai UFC fighter Zubaira Tukhugov will be stepping in the octagon at UFC 198 in Brazil.
Zubaira Tukhugov (18-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will face Renato Moicano (9-0-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC)
UFC 198 takes place May 14 at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized.
Moicano, who returns to his home country, fights for the second time under the UFC banner – but the first time since his UFC-debut win over Tom Niinimaki in late 2014.
Tukhugov, a 25-year-old Chechen-born Russian, is on a roll with three straight victories and nine consecutive wins overall. Most recently, with a TKO victory over Ernest Chavez and a split-decision victory over Phillipe Nover in December.
The card is headlined by UFC heavyweight championship Fabricio Werdum vs. Stipe Miocic and Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo Souza.
