Daily advice for HK immigrants to the West:

Regarding functioning in a civil society, please stop assuming that America or England was originally a CHRISTIAN country and somehow it’s now secularized. That tiresome narrative is a myth. A lot of stuff was done in the name of Jesus in both countries that really aren’t all that Christian including colonization, oppression others or even extermination of entire people groups. Assume you’re living in a secular society with realistic church-state separation. As a citizen of a secular society, your job isn’t to dictate to people to “come back to God” when the country was never really Christian. Your job as a Christian is to live as a functional citizen of that society by letting your good work speak for your faith. At the same time, you’ll just have to tolerate legislations that may go against your beliefs. Learn to live with the tension as the first Christians also did.

The Hong Kong Police is currently attacking the 2nd University in HK this month, rampaging on their Campus, the Universities which uphold our Society with the future generations, who will one day take over the City and suppose to prosper... *Ironically, most HK Police force have low education or intelligence, & most could not enter University to study 👨‍🎓👮🏿‍♂️. Speculation is that the Police force are using their coercion force & Weapons as now a truly Police State, as a last resort to protect themselves from being Caught in an "Independent Inquiry Council" currently being set up, which afterwards many Cops will be sent into Jail because they already knew they had stuffed up with their endless Brutality and attack of Citizens and Protestors alike, but letting go of Triads who attack its own people since June 2019. So they are actually taking over Hong Kong as hostage, with the Government participating only because they have no other Choice to choose from. These Uni Students are now trapped inside the University, and despite the Police offering them an Exit to Leave, those who actually left Campus were also apprehended by them. Typical lies we face everyday from this disastrous Police force. Which will need to be disbanded to gain back any Credibility, to restore the International status of Hong Kong as an example to the World, that Totalitarian control of your own people is not the way to go on our planet 🌏. Those students or professors, lecturers in need can call up their Embassies for help, if some of them have Overseas Visas or Passport. God bless us all 🙏🏻

❤️💛 4月26號就是新一年 2019 教會 「Alpha Course 啟發課程」開始, 地址在16號堅道浸信會 16 Caine Road Central ~ they will be starting the new Introductory Get to Know God Course for a 3 month period every week... They also have English praying sessions here at this Church, so it is quite convenient for everyone of all kinds of backgrounds & ethnicity.

I myself also joined this Alpha Course 1st a few years ago to believe, despite being an atheist for many years as I am more of the precise Mathematical/Scientific/Biological type of student all these years ☹️, however ever since then I have to thank God for humbling me in recent years, and would also encourage anyone interested to learn more about Life to join. Personally I think Life itself is already a Gift. If you have any Life troubles or wanted to know more on how to improve our Lives & Spirits, pls don’t be shy and feel free to be open minded and give it a shot first!

I also think it is not limited to this Church only, as any Churches around Hong Kong are great as long as they carry the same mindset, in fact I noticed many HK Churches surprisingly carry a weekly Bible Studying course that is synchronised by agreement and all study the same Chapters each week, meaning it’s easier for everyone to follow the Hong Kong churches programmes. And at the end of the Day, God does not discriminate between races or churches. Thanks to my Lord for giving me hope of having more confidence and to correct my life approach 🙏🏻

Back in mid-July, I went on my very first mission trip with ICA youths and it truly was an amazing experience! I've never been surrounded by so many people who share the same passion and faith and being immersed in a spiritually-active environment really does highlight the things that God can do!
