Still crazy to think that its been over a year since I graduated from New York University and left the best city in the entire world 😭🗽. One of the most common questions these days if whether its worth it to go to college? In my opinion yes and no…If you want to be a doctor/lawyer, something that requires a lot of advanced technical teaching and qualification, then you definitely need to get yo ass to college! But if you’re looking to go into entrepreneurship or just get into a general business type of industry, then I honestly think that you could put your money to better time and use. Heck I studied Economics/Finance but I even found all the sh*t I studied for in class to be quite useless when I worked at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (most of what I learned at HKEx was taught to me on the job). Nowadays you can pretty much self learn anything online for FREE! There are so many free articles and videos out there that can teach you so much! Sometimes I do honestly regret spending 4 years in class when I could have been more actively working on establishing myself in the fitness industry which is where my passions lie, but overall I obviously had an invaluable time at NYU and in New York City…all that being said I just wanted to say that for those of you in college, keep going and get that degree! But if you did not get accepted into the college that you wanted or any college at all, just know that its not the end of the world. Instead you now have all this extra time to work on you. RESEARCH. READ. LEARN. It can all be done online for free! Invest in yourself, get involved in your passions, and master your craft.
