鬱金香的花季由三月中開始，直到五月中。一般來說，四月尾至五月頭是鬱金香盛開的日子。雖然荷蘭各地都有種植鬱金香，但最熱門的地方便是Lisse，因為著名的鬱金香公園Keukenhof便位於這裏。Keukenhof 被譽為世上其中一個最大的花園，每年都會有超過七百萬朵花供遊人參觀，十分值得一去。另外，由於花園沒有人流管制，所以一定要一早就到達，十時開始，整個花海佈滿人羣，連拍張獨照也有點困難。

參觀完Kenkenhof 之後，便可以租借單車欣賞附近的花田，強烈建議一定要租單車，因為每個花田的面積都很大，我們用了很多時間才由一個花田步行到另一個花田。另外，要注意花田都是私人農田，拍攝要特別小心及注意。

Lisse沒有火車站，因此最方便的方法便是乘坐巴士；每年Keukenhof開放的日子都會有特別的巴士直達公園。而這次我們選擇住在Leiden，一來是因為Leiden是其中一個最接近的城市，而且位於Hague，Utrecht等城市中間，無論去花田或其地城市都十分方便。

Tulip blossoms starts from mid March till mid May. Generally, late April to early May is the best season to visit tulip. While tulips are farmed over several vast areas in Netherland, Lisse is the most popular place for tourist visit. The main reason is because Keukenhof, the largest tulip garden, is located over there and over 7 million of flower bulbs are planted annually. For a tourist, it should note that there is no crowd control over the garden. If you wish to take good photo, you should arrive very early and by 10 a.m. the garden would be full of people.

After visiting the garden, it is convenient to rent a bike to visit the nearby flower field. We highly recommend renting a bike as the flower field is very large and it is too time consuming if you walked from a field to another. So, it should be reminded that most of the flower field is private.

Lisse doesn’t have a train station. Hence, bus is the most convenient public means to travel. There will be special bus to go directly to the garden each year during the flower season. In the end, we choose to stay at Leiden as it is the closest city and near to other cities like Hague or Utrecht.
