那年在印度旅遊時認識的朋友發文， 台灣機車店的用腳推車神技，讓外國人讚嘆不已。

Kindness is like a boomerang. What you give out comes back.

Being on either side is a blessing. No matter if you are the one to give or the one to receive.

Today we run out of gasoline in the middle of nowhere. Neither the gas gauge nor the milage display is working on my scooter. Luckily there was a taiwanese family, we had just met, behind us. Mum, dad and two boys, also on a scooter. Instead of leaving us alone in the dark to get some fuel, the man pushed us with his knee almost 2km to the main street. His wife called another friend to meet us there with gasoline. I found it difficult to control the bike, I really don't know how he managed to controll his bike with 4 people on while pushing us with his knee. So grateful for this kind people.

On the way home, a Indian woman stopped me to give her a lift to the next village. She sat behind me with her huge carry one, but it felt like there was no extra weight behind us on the scooter. I felt this was my chance to pass on the kindness I had received minutes earlier. Instead of just dropping her off at the center, I asked where she needed to go and drove her an extra 2km. She left with a huge smile on her face and so did I.

นักข่าวบอกว่า ที่ศิริราชเขาเก็บโต๊ะลงนามถวายพระพรแล้ว.. ภรรยาโทรบอก..พระองค์โสมฯที่ร่วมแสดงละครเวทีเรื่อง ม่านประเพณี เสด็จกลับทันที..

ผมกลับเนชั่น ทั้งกอง บก.มานั่งรวมกัน..แล้วเมื่อมีแถลงการณ์จากสำนักพระราชวัง.. นายกรัฐมนตรีออกทีวี..
.
น้ำตาที่ตึก..ก็ไหลรวมกับน้ำตาทั้งประเทศ..
.
เหมือนโลกหยุดหมุน เวลาหยุดเดินที่เมืองไทย พวกเราค่อยๆแยกย้าย..ผมกับภรรยาไปที่ศิริราช
.
พอไปเห็นชื่อ "ศิริราชพยาบาล" เท่านั้น..
.
เกิดมาไม่เคยเห็นคนไทยจำนวนมากขนาดนั้น ร้องไห้ใจสลายขนาดนี้..
.
ก้มกราบลาที่หน้าโรงพยาบาล..ยกมือไหว้ท่วมหัวอยู่กลางสะพานอรุณอัมรินทร์ หันหน้าไปที่อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ศิริราช..
.
ผมเดินสวนกับประชาชนมากมายที่เตรียมไปจับจองพื้นที่ที่โรงพยาบาล เตรียมรับเสด็จ "ในหลวงในดวงใจ" เป็นครั้งสุดท้าย
.
กลับบ้านเที่ยงคืนกว่า..นอนร้องไห้เหมือนบ้านอื่นๆ จนเช้าวันศุกร์ที่ 14 ตุลาคม ตรงไปสนามหลวง
.
แล้วจากนั้น..ทุกอย่างเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่โลกต้องจารึก ที่ประเทศไทยมีงานศพ พ่อของคนไทยคืนกลับเป็นเทวดา
.
ผ้าดำขาดแคลน ถนนทุกสายมุ่งสู่พระบรมมหาราชวัง ลูกหลานชาวสยามเข้าแถวกันหลายชั่วโมง ตากแดดตากฝน เพื่อได้กราบพ่อเพียง 2 นาที
.
ออกมาหยอดเงินทำบุญโดยเสด็จพระราชกุศล มีรถรับส่งจิตอาสาบริการฟรี สำนักข่าวทั่วโลกต่างรายงานปรากฏการณ์นี้..ไม่มีที่ไหนในโลก

ขณะที่เข้าแถวรอกราบพ่อ เหนื่อยแสนเหนื่อย เมื่อยแสนเมื่อย แต่ไม่เท่าเศษธุลีดินที่ติดรองเท้าพ่อ..ที่ทรงย่ำมาตลอด 70 ปี
.
ผมใช้เวลาเข้าแถวนั้น ศึกษาพระราชประวัติ..คอยอ่านพระราชดำรัส..แล้วจงเดินตามรอยเท้าพ่อให้ได้มากที่สุด

ขอน้อมรำลึกสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันหาที่สุดมิได้

Bow down and say goodbye in front of the hospital.. Raise your hands and head in the middle of the Arun Amarin bridge. Face to face at the Chalerm General of Siriraj..

I walked with many people who prepared to reserve the area at the hospital. Prepare to receive the ′′ King in my heart ′′ for the last time.

Came home at midnight.. slept crying like other houses until Friday morning October 14th, straight to Sanam Luang.

And then.. Everything is phenomenal that the world has to inscribe. Thailand has funeral for the father of Thai people. Return to be an angel.

Black cloth is scarce of all roads. Headed to the Royal Palace. Siam children row for many hours. In the sun and rain for only 2 minutes.

Come out to make merit by the King. There is a volunteer shuttle. Free service. The global news agency reports this phenomenon.. Nowhere in the world.

While in line waiting, bowing to the father. Tired, stiffness, but not as much as the dust in the father's shoes.. that has been holding on for 70 years.

I spent my time studying the royal history.. Reading the royal words.. and walking in the father's footsteps as much as possible.

Today, I was running late and running around and looking a little half-crazed and rouuuuggghhhhhh trying to finish a million things before the weekend hit.

Today, I was bare-faced in mom gear, barely getting my *^%# together.

Today, I struggled with mom guilt as I packed my computer knowing I was bringing it with me to pick up Ella Grace from school and then take her to Little Owl so she could play while I worked some more.

Today, she surprised me as I bent down to take her out of her car seat and we saw each other for the first time.

And out of nowhere she said, “Mama, you look so nice today, you look so nice without make up too”.

Today, my daughter, who sees so much of herself in me, thinks I’m beautiful and that, that is enough.

Here’s to raising little girls who know their worth inside and out, who stand up and show up for each other, who know that their beauty is measured by kindness.

Here’s to being role models for those little girls. 😭❤️
