Here’s sharing a small segment from the book. It’s from the chapter called “Destroying the Stronghold of a Harbored Grudge”:

When you have a fresh revelation of the immensity of what God has forgiven you of, you can manifest your love for Him through forgiving others of their debts against you. You are extending forgiveness by Grace for God’s sake, not because the other person has made amends.

Knowing how much God has forgiven you of through Jesus’ finished work at the cross is the flaming boulder packed full of God’s dunamis (miracle-working power) to destroy the stronghold of a harbored grudge.

Harboring a grudge is like a poison that only harms yourself and others. The only ones celebrating over your unwillingness to forgive are Satan and his demons. The root of bitterness in your heart must be destroyed before it causes more trouble and defilement.

If you are harboring a grudge against someone, go through this process:

1. Picture Jesus at the cross bearing your sins and punishment, and how God has already forgiven you of a debt that is infinitely greater than what the person owes you.

2. Identify the person by name and tell God that you are going to forgive him or her by Grace, for Jesus’ sake.

3. Pray a blessing for that person and ask God to orchestrate opportunities for him or her to receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. This way, you overcome evil with good.

4. Congratulations, you are free from that grudge. Now that you have released the person from guilt, you also freed yourself from the stronghold of a harbored grudge. Enjoy that freedom and don’t take that grudge back again!

There are lots of spiritual warfare weapons and truths I want to share with you and it’s all in the book. Make sure to get a copy if you haven’t done so yet.

Blessed Christmas dear readers! I’m not taking an off day from writing to you because the devil does not take any days off from spreading his lies. I have a word to feed you with today.

Some believers are trapped by the past and future. These two realms of time have become shackles strapped to their legs, causing stagnation.

Guilt and regret from the past, worries and fears about the future—these are the shackles of the enemy.

Jesus didn’t tell us to make a roadmap of our entire life or to set a 10 year plan. He taught us to live one day at a time, depending on each day’s fresh portion of grace, with our eyes on God.

There is more than enough grace for you to handle today’s matters. However, if you are constantly focusing on the past or future, there is no grace in either of these realms. You will then be operating by the flesh.

Yes, you may get things done if you’re the type of people who likes planning far ahead into the future, but you will also be stressed out, weary and unhappy because it is no fun to depend on the flesh.

Instead, there is so much peace and joy when you are being present in the “now”. Don’t worry about tomorrow—when the time comes, there will be fresh grace for all your new challenges. You will not lack anything that you need!

In my book, “Silencing the Serpent”, I share about how to destroy Satanic strongholds caused by the devil’s deceptions, the mighty weapons you already have access to, how to use the full armor of God and much more.

I recently started to watch some older K Dramas and sitcoms again and was appalled that despite not that long ago, how problematic the tone and messages were. This applied to lyrics from music from the 90s and 2000s. Sometimes, I will look back and I feel so much embarrassment and shame for the things I have said and done in the past. I'm gonna get real with you here. Prior to being a parent, I read COUNTLESS books on how to prepare for parenthood. NOT ONE SINGLE BOOK OR PERSON told me that I will be needing a fish net one day.

Yes. A day will come where you will be fishing poo out of your own bathtub. DO NOT let your child stay in the tub too long because they will become TOO relaxed and literally UNLOAD. Then, they will be distraught because they have zero idea they caused it themselves.

This pound cake has a bright read santa hat inside it no matter how many times you cut it! It's endless fun...well, until you finish the cake.

The white fluffy cotton part of the hat is made with whipped cream. This makes for a great activity at Christmas parties as your guests and family can all make their own Santa hat.

It also makes a great present if you put it in a clear back and decorate it with a white marker.

This is the 5th and final recipe from our recipe book, which is out now in bookstores in Japan as well as Amazon.jp!

*Recipe*（Makes one 7✕15✕6.5cm pound cake）
１．Make the shape of the santa hat using two small milk cartons. Cover completely with parchment paper. (Refer to the illustration in our book on how to make this)

Pound Cake

First we will sift together two kinds of glour
２．Sift together 95g weak flour and 5g of baking powder (about 1 1/4 tsp) and set aside
３．Next sift and combine 22g of weak flour (2 2/3 tbsp), 1g of baking powder (1/4 tsp), 2g cocoa powder (1tsp), 1g of red food coloring (a little under 1/2 tsp)

４．Froth 100g of unsalted butter at room temperature
５．Mix in 80g of sugar gradually in 2-3 batches
６．Stir 2 eggs and mix in to the batter gradually across about 5 batches
７．Mix in vanilla oil and a tbsp of rum across two batches

Next we'll make the santa hat

８．Separate about 20% of #7 (53g)
９．Combine with the mixture from #3 and mix lightly
１０．Add in the mixture from #1。
１１．Bake in an oven at 180℃ for 15 minutes
１２．Let cool and cut off the lower part of the hat
１３．Adjust to the length of your pound cake by cutting off the ends

Finally create the plain batter and finish

１４．Add mixture #2 into #8 and mix lightly
１５．Oil your pound cake tray and either powder with flour or cover with parchment paper
１６．Add #14 to the bottom (about 7ml) and then add #13 to that. Finally, top off by pouring on #14.
１７．Bake in over at 180℃ for 25 minutes
１８．Set to cool and remove from pan; wrap tightly with plastic wrap and let sit overnight. The bread should be nice and moist.
１９．Cut and serve. Use whipped cream to finish decorating the hat.

Using a piping bag makes it easier to put the dough in the bag.

The santa hat looks cute if it's a little misshapen, so don't worry too much about making it perfect!
