Use your Gifts in a Spirit of Love

“If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing. If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Corinthian church liked to show off their gift of praying in tongues in a chaotic manner. They spoke it loudly during worship and the sharing of the word, causing such disruption that Paul had to teach them to do everything orderly in congregational worship. The problem was not just limited to that. They liked to compare and boast about who had a better spiritual gift.

Probably one person who could pray in tongues liked to say how he was greater or more loved by God than other members who could not do it. Then the other would retort saying that he had another better spiritual gift than praying in tongues. These squabbles would lead to factions being formed, people with the same kind of gifts grouping together and disliking those who had different gifts from them.

That is why Paul had to use the analogy of the foot and the hand saying that they don’t need each other being a ridiculous idea. He had to teach them proper decorum on how to minister in their gifts the right way. Paul had to teach them how the body of Christ is meant to be united as one, working together, and built up in love.

“For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body. If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. If they were all one member, where would the body be? But now they are many members, but one body. The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety; whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part, that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:12-26‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Comparison and divisiveness are toxic. Everything ought to be done in love, if not, it is easy for pride to come in and ruin everything. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

It is not so much about their gifts not working or profiting them when they don’t do it in the right spirit. Yes, they may lose out on heavenly rewards because God weighs the heart, but spiritual gifts will always work because they operate by grace—not based on how worthy the person is by works. It is more about how it is pointless when done boastfully because God gave them the gifts to be used in love—not to compare, boast, or inflate their egos. God’s spiritual gifts are not party tricks to impress men with.

Use your gifts in a spirit of love, to build people up by demonstrating the love of God. Recognize that every believer has a different set of gifts, unique for his or her calling. Yes, you have a gift! God designed this diversity so that we would all need each other, and minister to one another. Just like that, we will build up the body of Christ in love. This is the right way that glorifies God!

Allah is the Most Merciful of the Merciful

O Allah, blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad

The first time in my life doing Tahajjud Prayer was when I was 41 years old. How ignorant I was at that time.

But Alhamdulillah for those who haven't done it yet, there's still a chance to do. While we are still alive.

I have written this TAHAJJUD circumcision prayer repeatedly but I am not satisfied because I want all my friends to take the opportunity to do so.

When I write this entry, it is in Ramadhan. Which we will wake up for sahur. So, take this opportunity to go for a prayer.

The best time to pray is a third night which is around 3 am.
(One night counts since Isyak time and ends at dawn. Meaning, 1 nights ~ 9 hours. So one third of those last nights were at 1.30 am to 4.30 am).

Prayer of Tahajjud is a night prayer carried out after waking up, the afdal is made alone after midnight. This circumcision prayer is highly claimed and very well done as an additional worship. Rasulullah SAW and friends did not leave this prayer for the rest of their life.

The Word of Allah SWT.:

′′ And at night pray for you as an additional worship for you; May your God lift you up to a place of praise."

(Surah Isra '; verse 79)

Rasulullah SAW said: ′′ Do the night prayer because it is the habit of solihin before you, also a way to get closer to your God, also as the redeemer of all bad deeds, the preventer of sin and can prevent sickness from the body." (Tirmizi's history and Ahmad r.a.)

Sunat prayer of tahajjud is encouraged to be established every night.

We pray for Isyak fardhu in the beginning of time with a bow and wake up then fast to sleep so that we can wake up in the middle of the night to perform the prayer of tahajj

The law of prayer of tahajjud is the circumcision of muakkad - which is the practice of circumcision that is

Rasulullah SAW and friends never leave this prayer for their lifetime.

His own majesty has never left the prayer of Tahajjud circumcision even one night until both of his feet are swollen because of standing too much.

′′ The most important prayer after the fardu prayer is the night prayer (tahajjjud prayer) ′′

Prayer of tahajjud circumcision is highly encouraged to be done together with prayer of repentance.

TAHAJJUD PRAYER TIME.

Prayer of tahajjud circumcision is done at midnight, which is after 12 pm.

This time is after waking up from sleep in quiet condition when all other humans are sleeping well.

The Word of Allah SWT:

O people who are blanketed! Wake up Tahajjud prayer at night, apart from a little time (which cannot be rested), which is half of the night, or lessen a little of the half, or more of the second and read the Quran slowly.

- Surah al-Muzzammil verse 1-4

TAHAJJUD PRAYER GOAL

- As a sign of slavery to Allah SWT.

- Closing a servant with his Creator

- Signs of human gratitude for the blessings of Allah SWT.

- Strengthening the soul and piety of a person to Allah SWT.

- Getting calm in facing challenges and challenges of life.

HOW TO END TAHAJJUD PRAYER

THE AMOUNT OF RAKAT

Prayer of Tahajjud is done without its rakaat, according to its ability and ability, with every two rakaat one greeting. If you feel heavy, you'll just have two rakaats but you'll be done continuously every night.

Rasulullah SAW has said,:

′′ The practice that is loved by Allah, is the continuous (persistence) even though a little."

1. BEFORE WORKING FOR TAHAJJUD PRAYER READ THE NEXT PRAYER:

There is no God but You, Glory to You! I ask for forgiveness from You for my sins and I ask You for Your Mercy. Oh my God! Add me knowledge and don't give my heart after You give guidance. And give me Your Mercy; Truly You are the one who bestows blessings! Praise be to Allah who has brought me alive and to Him is my return.

2. INTENTIONS OF TAHAJJUD PRAYER:

(Ushalli sunnat tahajjudi rak 'ataini Lillahi ta' ala)

I pray for two rakaat Tahajjud circumcision, because of Allah Ta ' ala.

3. SURAH READING AFTER AL-FATIHAH:

First rakaat: Verse Al-Chair (7 times)

Second rakaat: Surah Al-Ikhlas (11 times)

Or;

b)

First rakaat: Ayat Al-Kaafirun

Second rakaat: Surah Al-Ikhlas

Or;

c)

The Last 10 Verse, Surah Al-Imran,.

(Rasulullah SAW often reads this on His Majesty's Tahajjud )

The Advantages of TAHAJJUD PRAYER

- Tahajjud is the most afdal prayer of circumcision.

- Prayers answered by Allah.

- Earning peace of soul.

- Feeling close to Allah SWT.

- Given privilege by Allah SWT.

- Get God's help and blessings.

- Beating the distractions and temptations of the devil.

- Prevent sin and avoid sickness.

- Becoming more disciplined in doing the task.

- Allah SWT makes it easy to receive the knowledge learned.

- Out of notes as a neglected group.

- Respected by the community and prevented from human envy.

- Allah SWT gives you lasting ease and sustenance.

- People praying for Tahajjud becomes the love of Allah SWT.

- Given a privilege that others don't get.

- Get the glory of Allah SWT in this world and the hereafter.

- Raise the dignity of a servant in the presence of Allah Azza Wa Jalla.

- Ease the reckoning in the afterlife and crossing Titian Siratal-Mustaqim.

That's how the advantages of prayer sunat tahajjud which is fulfilled in prayer, calm heart and mind, easy fortune and receive protection from human betrayal.

The most important thing is this time the door of repentance is wide open.

′′ Do the night prayer because it is the habit of solihin before you, also a way to get closer to your God, also as the redeemer of all bad deeds, the repellent of sin and can obstruct disease ′′

EASY TO WAKE UP NIGHT PRAYER
(I've written this before...)

- Before going to bed, intend to do Tahajjud Prayer.

- Stay away from sin.

- Simple eating and drinking at noon.

- Reading the verses of the Quran.

Rasulullah SAW said:

′′ Whoever wants to sleep and intends to rise up to perform the Tahajjud Circumcision Prayer, then sleep is too much until the morning, then the intention is recorded as a reward, while his sleep is considered as the gift of God given to him."

According to Imam al-Ghazali, there are four reasons for the world and four spiritual reasons to help someone tahajjud.

Because the world is:

- Avoid over eating and drinking that will only cause excessive sleep

- Don't explode with things that are not useful during the day.

- Sleeping for a while at noon which will help us for night prayers.

- No sin during the day which it may prevent us from performing tahajjud prayers

Because of his spirituality is:

- To cleanse our hearts from any hate towards other Muslims.

- To always have fear in our hearts towards God and realize that our lives are very short.

- To understand the benefits of tahajjud.

- To love Allah, and have strong faith when we wake up the night prayer 'calling' Allah.

FIVE REWARDS IN THE WORLD

1. Away From All Diseases

Salman Al-Farisi tells, Rasulullah SAW once said;

Do the night prayer, because it is the habit of the religious people before you, the way closer to God, the redeemer, the repellent of sin, and the preventer of disease."

2. Blessed with the Impact on the Face

Have you seen the faces of worship members who practice night prayers?

Doesn't their faces look radiant and calm?

That's the proof of the gift that Allah gave him.

Not only that, by seeing their faces we feel happy and happy, even feel like seeing it many times.

3. Loved By All Humans

Whoever practices night worship will surely be loved by every human being, let alone by Allah SWT.

That's the characteristics of those who believe and do good deeds with Allah will surely receive love from anyone.

We won't know our partner as long as we don't share the same house, sekatil, pillow with him. Even his parents won't know him as deep as we know him. That's why, the wife knows her husband than her mother she knows her.

But a smart man, a religious man, a pious woman will always consider that the partner is a GIFT.

There is a couple, be grateful. Because there are still many who still Allah doesn't grant his prayers for couple. So be thankful.

Not happy nowadays, want to get a partner who prays, who reads, whose living is not crafty. So if we get a partner like that, learn to appreciate even though she is not beautiful to boroi to what.

Hat boroi, tak lawa, no comey to anything, there is Allah nak test us, which one of us is the most LAUGHING. Choosing religion, overcomes everything.

4. The last one, the reason is when someone doesn't become happy with each other. Yee, learn to be a fun couple.

The one that Allah tests someone is soleh solehah, the prayer is not left, the recitation is not missing, the fasting is full but the years of not having a That's a test of his name. And this test is no other than to lift the position of taqwa and our faith higher. Be patient and be happy with Allah's test.

The second, the misfortune that mai in the form of reprimand. Allah sends this because Allah wants to tell us to return to the goodness.

For example, we are careless of chasing money here, rich here and there, papppp Allah gives an accident. Can't find the cause of sustenance anymore. That's a warning. Maybe we don't pray humble. We make worship but a lot of crafty. So, Allah wants to flick a little to give advice. Want to let us go back to Him. So, don't talk about Allah. Allah doesn't do anything in vain

The last thing is this disaster come in the form of bullet or punishment.

In this marriage, if we want peace, we have to learn to ACCEPT. Accept what Allah gives. Acceptance is our partner. Accept all Allah's tests.

If it's one moment later Allah tests it without sustenance for a long mate, no fortune to be with.

′′ If you still can, hold it well, if you can't, let it go well."

Always learn to steal husband / wife's heart. Learn to take all the rewards that Allah wants to give in marriage. Learn to be a person who thirsts for reward.

Two prevalent problems I see nowadays is the fear of failure and the impatience for success. Both are related and can feed into each other.

I think part of the reason for the existence of these societal maladies are the awareness and knowledge of successful people. The internet is largely to blame. We become trapped in "celebrity-worship." We put these "celebrities" on pedestals and believe that we could never accomplish the things they could, but this is a disempowering, peasant-like way of thinking

Another problem is that we do not see the hard work these "celebrities" have put into their crafts, and we think that we can use shortcuts on the way to success. Life is just not that easy, but the deception of the "information industry" is that you can buy information and take rapid shortcuts to success.

Throughout this year, I have painfully learned that this is not true, but at the same time, I don't think people should give up, just because life is hard.

Stay strong, work hard, and be joyful on your way to happiness.
